Annabel R Bugbird
Annabel Bugbird is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, Canada under the supervision of Dr Steven Boyd. Prior to her PhD, Annabel completed an integrated master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter, England.
Annabel's research focuses on the use of advanced medical imaging such as High Resolution peripheral Quantitative Computed Tomography (HR-pQCT) in the field of osteoporosis, to improve osteoporotic fracture prediction, develop new imaging biomarkers, and aid in the standardization of imaging techniques.
