Enrico Dall'Ara
Enrico Dall'Ara is Full Professor of Musculoskeletal Biomechanics at the Division of Clinical Medicine and Insigneo Institute of the University of Sheffield.
He is currently the Research Director of the Computational Modelling in Medicine theme of Insigneo, President of the UK chapter of the Virtual Physiological Human institute, and Secretary Generale of the European Society of Biomechanics.
Enrico is an expert of characterization of the mechanical properties of biological tissues in a multi-scale fashion, combining imaging, computational and experimental techniques. His main research interests are bone mechanics, developments of validation and calibration studies for in silico models at different dimensional scales and bone remodeling.
